Two weeks...a photo journal

Over the past two weeks, we have been very busy.

Pris traveled to Chennai for meetings. While she was out of town, MacKenzie and I attended the first birthday party for Sushma's daughter. Then, I traveled to Mumbai to attend a Global Leaders conference and MacKenzie continues to make new friends.

We are launching a Global Business Leaders certificate program in partnership with U21Global and Harvard Business School Publishing to expand the strategic global business skills of our leaders.

Pris attended an HR meeting in Chennai. It was the team's end of year celebration. It was attended by over 200 associates.

And I thought birthday parties were a big deal in the states...more than 50 people attended this little girls first birthday party complete with formal ceremony. Everything took place on a large stage with lots of music. They cut the cake and the baby took the first bite. Then Mom and Dad took a bite, and then all the kids came forward to take a bite of cake and say happy birthday. This was followed by a full buffet dinner.

When India was a British colony, they changes the city's name from Mumbai to Bombay. Today, cities across India have changed their names back to their origin. Madras has returned to being called Chennai, and Calkuta has returned to Kolkata.

I took these picutres from top of the Taj Palace Hotel in Mumbai while attending the Global Leaders Conference.

We took MacKenzie and her friends to lunch.
